Children in Limerick are set to enjoy Letter To Santa Day – a unique family experience to kick off the Christmas season at Parkway Retail Park, Limerick, on Sunday December 6 (2-5pm).
Local youngsters will get the chance to post their letters to Santa in a giant letterbox, under the watchful eye of Mrs Claus herself.
And Mrs Claus guarantees that all children posting letters will get a reply from Santa Claus himself.
And while Mrs Claus and her elves tell Christmas stories, they will be on the look out for the best-dressed festive families – so parents and children alike are advised to put on their best costumes and Christmas jumpers.
The carnival atmosphere will start with the arrival of Mrs Claus to Parkway Retail Park on the Dublin Road in a horse-drawn carriage.
There will also be carol singers, Frosty the Snowman, roasted chestnuts, a snow machine and lots of family photo opportunities with the Parkway Retail Park giant snow globe.
Car parking, including disabled car parking spaces, will be available at Parkway Retail Park on the Dublin Road for this fantastic event.
“This event is a great opportunity for families to start the Christmas season together,” said Pat Naughton, Site Manager, Parkway Retail Park.
“Families are at the heart of all of our events at Parkway Retail Park, something that was in evidence at our highly-successful Halloween Spooks Parade, and the opening of Toys R Us.”
